Wayne Smith
Wayne has always felt an affinity to the earth and working with his hands. As a young boy, he learned about building from his father and his mother encouraged his love of plants and tilling the soil. He also has a strong sense of place and connection to the land. For Wayne, Deep Cove is his home and its where his roots run deep.

At Parkgate Society, we are guided by our vision to create a “vibrant, connected community” and by our mission to “create opportunities for people in our community to live life better”. As you can see by the length of this newsletter, we are keeping busy trying to live by these words!

A first-year student at Capilano University, Ryan is actively and purposefully setting the course for his future while also continuing to give back to the community that had such a significant positive impact on his childhood.
