Summer in the Park Playgroups

When: Mondays 9:30 – 11:00 am starting July 8 and running weekly until August 26.  No playgroup on Aug 5.
Where: Little Cates Park
We will be at the park rain or shine.

Every July and August, Parkgate Society’s Parent Community Developers host Outdoor Playgroups in neighbourhood parks and playgrounds. This program is for children ages 0-6 and their parents or caregivers (siblings welcome). We provide a light snack for the children. We alternate between Inter River (Digger) Park in the Lynnmour neighbourhood (trail on left, halfway down Premier Street) and Little Cates Park-4000 Dollarton Highway (Off Seashell Lane).

Come out for a morning of fun! Meet other families with children under 6: enjoy art, activities, games, story time and much more.

This program is made available through funding from the Community Action Program for Children

CAPC supports families with children from birth to six years old. We work with families to promote the health and wellbeing of young children and infants. Our CAPC programs include fun and educational activities such as FREE family drop-in programs, parent education courses, parent-led groups and information and referral services.
