Guidelines for COVID-19 Safety

Enter and exit through the outside plaza doors. Doors open 10 minutes prior to start time - please keep 2 metres apart while you wait.

Please wear a mask at the facility unless seated at your table. We will provide masks if you don't have one.

Before entering staff will ask you to take the COVID-19 self-test posted on the door, take your temperature, have you wash or sanitize your hands, and show you to your seat.

You will be asked for your name, address, phone number, and email the first time you come for communication and contact tracing purposes.

Parkgate Pacers – this program is running!

Join older adults in the community for an hour walk around the local streets and trails with the occasional trip to other locations of interest. Return to Parkgate for tea and coffee ($1). Call Isobel 604.929.2042 for more information. Meet in the Parkgate Plaza.

Adapted Fitness

Chair Yoga 55+ – this program is running!

Slow and gentle stretches either sitting on a chair or using it for balance. The movement will help you increase your range of motion with a focus on breathing. The class is limited to 16.

SureFeet: two levels to choose from (closed until further notice)

SureFeet group exercise classes have been designed to meet the needs of older adults experiencing balance and mobility issues. Join our classes to improve your balance, better your quality of life, and meet others who are experiencing similar challenges.

Keep Well (Will return Post-Pandemic)

Sponsored by the Keep Well Society in partnership with Parkgate Society.
Join your friends to keep fit to music, then enjoy massage, blood pressure checks, nutrition counselling, plus coffee and goodies.
Guest speaker on the 4th Tuesday of the month.
