The Seymour Access Bus is for older adults who have difficulty navigating transportation and who need extra support to get out of the house. Shop for groceries, prescriptions, and other essentials or just enjoy an afternoon out with companions.

Monthly Leisure Bus Trips

Explore the interesting sights of Lower Mainland in the comfort of our Society’s private bus! Our monthly Leisure Bus Trips will take you to a variety of destinations. We also have our twice-monthly Seymour Access Bus trips for those who have a harder time getting out and about. All trips depart from and return to Parkgate Community Centre.

Bus trips are registered programs. Registration opens for upcoming bus trips one month prior to the trip date and are on a first-come, first-serve basis. • Cirque Du Soleil: Nov 24
  Location: Vancouver
  Bus Departure: 3pm

  A spectacular performance combining poetry, stagecraft, daring acrobatics, and technology explores the delicate balance between people, animals, and the world we all share. Our main female heroine Future and our characters discover that their choices have the potential to influence the world as they progress through the stages of evolution. They are motivated to work together to piece the planet we all wish to live on. Cirque du Soleil ECHO allows the audience to join in a world of color, inspired by the youth’s optimism, the inventive power, and the value of empathy.

• Capilano Lights: Dec 5
  Location: North Vancouver
  Bus Departure: 4:30pm
  Join us as we cross the world-famous bridge, lit end-to-end with a changing multi-colour display and journey into a glittering rainforest, walking high above the forest floor on a transformed Treetops Adventure. Concessions and hot chocolate available for purchase at Capilano Suspension Bridge Park, wear appropriate footwear and dress warmly for the occasion!
